That, I don't know. Probably the stuff directly South of me. My detector only goes out to 25 miles, but as IC lightning can travel quite a distance, it probably picked up the discharge some way from where it started from.

All the cumulus here is starting to take a sort of vertical component now

despite numerous warning across multiple sites and platforms of severe weather where I am, its now late afternoon and still warm sunshine and the odd cumulus cloud in Congleon..looks like again forecast was wrong for here

23c recorded at brize norton which is a bit higher than forecast but dew point is 7c tho it does feel like its getting more humid to me so hoping for the best.
