We need a catchy name for Hampshire/Wiltshire/Dorset. I was thinking ‘the void’ or ‘Rhombus of solitude’

I've already coined the SOR for here - shield of resistance.

Hampshire (H), Wiltshire (W) and Dorset (D)

So maybe Hopeless, Wilting and Dry.

Cell popped up right over me. Absolutely torrential rain now. Would be surprised to get a flash or two in the next 10 mins

A cell went from nothing to dropping a bolt a mile from me in 15 mins! Rain getting heavier but no more thunder heard. Loving this weather right now!

I counted about 5-6 rumbles but I haven't managed to hear anything for a few minutes now.

Edit: Just heard another one

That perfectly describes the grass round here at the moment.

Increasingly dark to the NW but nothing showing on the radar in that direction.

Oh well so far, distant rumbles when cloud first over, stopped when rain started, although a couple of more rumbles happened a while ago, not heard anything but rain now for a good fifteen minutes.

Tried to fit a walk in but got caught out by the storm. Plenty of thunder and CC lightning, and some very heavy rain that soaked myself and will definitely cause some flash flooding issues!
