All morning I watched clouds build in the east, drifting off to the west ?‍♀️
Leaving work just as the hail core hit was impressive.
The village I work in flooded very quickly. Definitely heart in mouth moments on the motorway home. Couldn’t see & the wipers wouldn’t go any quicker

some crazy crazy rain that around Portsmouth.

Sounds crazy down where you are! The sun is really shining here, and it's feeling very warm with numerous towers going up to my north.

You might be in for a show. The clouds heading your way are no longer clouds, one big black mess from my view

Quick 5 minutes of sunshine before the next round of storms, oh my goodness it looks on the radar like it's going to happen all over again ...

Good to see the netweather storm app working well, almost the same number of lightning strikes on the app as I've heard thunder in the past hour (only actually saw lightning once).

Seems like the storm forcefield is coming back up around London and Kent again  all the action for the next few days appears to be further north and west. Is there an explanation for that? As usually a southeasterly wind is a more favourable direction for storms in our area with these setups, a good example is may 26th-30th 2018 where the weather pattern was very very similar. We will have the high temperatures, instability and high humidity like other parts of the country.
