Is there light at the end of this grey tunnel?

You'll like this one.... Some kids were camping over in the Downton meadows last night. Packing up in the rain this morning, we watched them bag their rubbish up, then chuck it in the trees. I shouted

My poor attempt at taking photos of lightning with the phone!

Just missed out in frome again , but took a short a short stroll  to a good vantage point and caught  funnel cloud

Lucky in West Wiltshire this afternoon with good sunny spells, a week on from 30c we have managed to sneak 20c lol.

Prime example tomorrow of how Atlantic conditions mean quick changes in forecast. It looked set to be a fine day but now chances of drizzle/light rain from late morning onwards as the ridge isn’t as far North as predicted yesterday.

I wouldn’t bet against drizzle up the Bristol Channel from early in the day and this encroaching further SE by mid morning.

A day that improved as it went on - very pleasant indeed for early September... Not looking great for the next day or so.

    A low of 13c at 4am, now 15.4c
Another grey start to the early morning, but blue sky has just started to come out, looks promising.
Last few days been dry and a max each day of 19-20c, but cloudy, except for a few hour spell of sunshine yesterday late afternoon.

Looking like another weekend of breezy winds on the way which we do not need when the Sweetcorn and runner beans are growing straight nicely.
Will have to go out and extra prop them up again today as I did last week.
