Stayed awake until about 3:15am, only saw faint orange glow NW.  No stars visible N or S. I love clouds one minute and curse them the next.

The next few evenings and early mornings have clear-skies forecast so there should be a better window of time for many to spot the NLCs before the weekend's cloud sets in after Friday, I did take a peek outside yesterday when the sun was going down but it was 6/8 of cloud outside and so made the best of a early night's sleep in preparation for later on today.

Latest Aim for 21-06-2020 (for Sunday nights showing)

21j.thumb.png.595a266b65200e8d405a351c7cd08198.png

looks like there a lot of defragmentation around the 1 o`clock area with individual NLC`s floating around at lower latitudes.....Could be some small sightings for tonight

Yep, but not enough for me to stop up for, nor recommend others to do so, as you have seen ;)

One of those rare instances where I am hoping the AIM chart is wrong. Doesn't look great for the clear nights we have scheduled over next few days!

To unpredictable tonight for a prediction......As Donald Trump found out over the weekend it`s better to promise little... and get a pleasant suprise if they show up... than promise a lot and ending up disapointed

I wouldn't be too dismayed. The AIM charts are not the be all and end all. They are often unreliable. As has been mentioned in this thread, reports from boots on the ground from the NLC Facebook group is generally the best predictor.

Looks as though sunset is a dud. Can't see anything on any webcams and not a single confirmed sighting on the Facebook group. Up to the sunrise gang to deliver the goods now! Dawn does appear to have been better than dusk on average (not that I would know, I am not commited enough, I am just going by what others have posted!), I wonder if there is something to it.

Very faint NLCs seen from here between 11:30pm and midnight, really needed to bring out the contrast on the photo's but so-far tonight it's been slim pickings.

NLCs were just about visible from here too during that short 15min window, although my eye eventually turned to Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and Venus just before sunrise.
