These lower % tornado risks producing so far this season, Cookeville was barely in 2% risk, today's storms are 5%

Decent storm allllll the way down near Del Rio, TX dumping 2 inch plus hail in tonights SLGT Risk. Seen a couple of people suggest a tornado or two just over the border in Mexico tonight.

First storm of the day about 20 miles or so North of Milwaukee, WI and heading out onto Lake Michigan. 2.25inch hail.

After a quiet pattern now for a week or so GFS especially brings a favourable pattern back from 17th Apr with a strong southerly displaced jet and robust moisture return into the southern plains.

The period 17th-22nd Apr could be very active.

Hmmm Not so sure about the quiet pattern

Sunday looks like a borderline High Risk to me.
