9C and wall to wall sunshine as I left the Aberdeen office this afternoon. Spring begins in under a fortnight, and 28 days later the clocks go forward. Should be enough daylight to hit the hills after work for a couple of hours.

    Counting the days.....?

Still rooting for winter here. Got a  taste for it last week and want more.

That would be the cherry on the cake - walking snow covered hills in daylight.

    We can but dream ?

I hadn't realised this before, but looking back through February photos, most from the first half of the month are snowy but barely any after mid month are. Crikey, pictures of my little boys wandering in awe through snow-bound forests, staggering through drifts going up hills....

Getting really jealous of those further east of me where these showers die out as we have just had another day of torrential showers and the ground is covered in water as it has nowhere to go. Very windy this morning but it has died down tonight and its currently 4.5c. A run of old gutters on  our oldest dutch barn has succumbed to all the wind of the last two weeks.and so will need replacing.

Nothing of note today a bit of sun and a bit of rain it looks like this coming week will be cool and wet, single digit temps but nothing close to cold...Boring..!!!

Current temp 1.9 deg/C and a bit of rain blowing through.

If any showers tomorrow travel across the hills of Scotland, then they most likely will turn wintry.

It's already turned to snow in the higher roads further west.

I'll always have a soft spot for this webcam ? Alan from winterhighland did all the networking but I drilled the holes through the walls of the hotel, ran the cabling and fitted the camera to just under the upstairs eaves.

Gosh. I'm starting to get jealous now.

Everywhere in Scotland has seen at least one snow event, while here in the SE, I at least haven't even had a sleet event!

Come on now, at least pass some snow to the SE. You know what they say, sharing is caring! ?????

Down to 1.9C overnight so everything just wet. Snow was billowing down before bed, and looking around at dawn on my drive into Edinburgh, I'd say it's hills above 300m that are white.

Haven't seen anything here either (Bellshill).  Not a single event.

Heavy sleet on here though temp showing as 4C. Overnight heavy sleet and rain showers with a bit of snow in the heavier bits  first thing this morning. Nowhere near sticking down here though.

Love when it clears through and you get the bright white glow from the mountains - oh snow how you are missed on low ground this Winter! ?

Thursday looks like another day of wintry showers.

Have a good night everyone and all the usual suspects enjoy the snow! ⛄

    Evening all,

Came home to similar conditions as @Kirkcaldy Weather was reporting. Missed the showers, too busy at work!

Sunday night was certainly the wildest here in terms of high winds, some minor damage and gusts must have been 70mph here on the coast (Tay Bridge was closed for a while).

Got out for a walk on the Fife Coastal Path on Saturday, was glad to have the wind at my back! Even spotted a few bedraggled, wind blown daffodils.

Had some snow here earlier but didn't lie. The shepherd up the road starts lambing at the end of this month and we usually get a lot of snow then.
