Back to winter this afternoon with heavy sleet/snow and hail showers.Managed to lift last store of neeps yesterday before ground became two wet to travel on today  Currently breezy and 2c.

Haven’t had much to report weather-wise of late and my phone has been on the blink but had a few snow showers while working in Inverness earlier and have returned home to a wee covering at the house. Starts at about 200m+

Although winter 19/20 found the cheat codes and unlocked the elusive hellish-p*sh weather mode the snow that fell during February was stubborn indeed stoic, lying from 10th feb through to March 7th with plenty remnants still in the area. If I had a preference it would be some more of last week’s conditions, very hard frosts gradually melted away by some glorious sun. Conditions out west were ideal

1.0/0.8°C and fluffy snow gently falling, then billowing in the breeze. Only lying on grass for now. Heavy band not reached me yet.

Some wet snow earlier. Didn't lie. Some thunder and lightning about.

No snow but we do have a snowplough doing the rounds locally. Met forecast is for another dry chilly night.

It has mainly been rain for most of the evening but in the last 15 minutes it has turned to wet sleety snow now. Temperature dropping slowly. Not lying yet. If it freezes over during the night then the cycle to work will be interesting.

@Northernlights wrf has you getting an utter pasting through tomorrow morning / early afternoon possible thundersnow in parts too

Just looked oot for the first time tonight and it has been snawin here with the grass and roofs white, but the roads are still looking black and wet!

Thunder snow

We have snow settling here too now how odd this is getting

Yeah, heavy hail just after 2am. Left a light covering. Then thunder and lightning at 2.08am, now snowing in Cambuslang.

Heavy snow continuing here although thunder and lightning stopping.

Frustrating though , I took a video out the window, one of 2 windows I could've easily videod from - picked the wrong one as a massive CG landed just outside of shot  got the bright flash with thunder though!
