Lovely ride home this evening! Not the worst wind ever but very gusty. Hard work! Some pretty large branches down on the Water of Leith! Managed to avoid the rain so thankfull for that

Wow you're brave to be out on your bike in this! I wimped out due to the frozen slush on the back roads at home yesterday which didn't help my mood... Would like some cycling weather soon please.

Whatever the weather. No matter how bad. It's better than spending twice as long on the bus!

I was out on my bike this morning and the black ice was lethal. It was +4 so no idea where that came from. Wind wasn’t too bad, even around lunchtime. I’ve experienced much worse on my bike

Just found this with some info on the site that recorded the record December temperature

Northern Scotland broken GB December temperature records in 2019, how has time affected snow cover?

Also the camels in the Saudi desert are getting snow before us

Some very heavy hail just rattled through here and very squally with it. Big hail, absolutely pounding off the windows. Some distant lightning too.

Thunder and a good flash of lightening overhead here in Motherwell...

Heard the thunder (actually, I felt it, as the ground seemed to shake). Wasn’t at the window to see the lightning.

Argh, family reporting the thunder and hail at home (better than snow!) but I'm not in the country typically!

Some hail and gustier winds now too. Lights flickering the worst they have done all night.
