It was warm last night. The switch to the summer duvet was completed yesterday and just in the nick of time.

Going by the ECM, it looks like we'll squeeze another weekend out of the glorious weather. We'll get through that, then worry about any potential changes later next week.

Repeat of the last few days, sunny with blue skies. Feels warmer than the temperature suggests too as the breeze isn’t as cool as it has been at the moment. 19.7°C

Wind from the Eastern quadrant helping the temp along here, up to 25.7°C. Equalling the warmest day of the year.

25C and beautiful!

May 27th has a history with thunderstorms three years in a row and the highest temp I’ve recorded was the one day wonder in 2005.

Not this year, I suspect:cray:It is really dry, so far I've only measured 1.5mm of rainfall, and that isn't going to be improved giving the current situation..

Indeed. No risk of that this year!

Equally, mention goes to those dates in 2007 and 2008 which were both dire! 2007 barely made double figures with over an inch of rain.

Got to 26.5°C at: 13:48 before it clouded over... currently 24.6°C and cloudy, with a very gentle breeze.

Long may it continue, although it has to end at some point, right?! We've been spoiled rotten.

Topped out at 26.2°C here. I'd like to know the mechanics of why an Easterly breeze always peps the temp up here?! It's coming directly from Poole Harbour/Backwaters..

Usually happens here as well with an easterly but today it hasn’t as it’s been sat around 20°C all afternoon, still warmer than when it was coming from a southerly direction last week which gave afternoon temps of around 16°C

Likewise here, always do well from an Easterly in the summer. However temperatures were slightly lower than yesterday, with a high today of 24.8°C and a high yesterday of 25.1°C.

Didn't notice it though haha

Morning All, an overnight low of 10.1°C at: 05:40 has started the day well, although notably a tad breezier than yesterday. Current temperature is 20.6°C, with RH52 % and a breeze of 9mph out of the SE..The onshore SE breeze creating a few waves...

OH has just got back from an early morning walk at Southbourne with her mate. Well jel.

Said it was getting busier when they left at 10am.

Warm and sunny again. Currently at Southampton common where it’s fairly busy but everyone’s keeping their distance.  21.1°C back home.

Peaked at 24.5°C at: 14:16 which is cooler than yesterday but still warm nonetheless.. currently 23.3°C

Onshore breeze has kept today's temperature down, peaking at 22.1°C at: 14:09...with a pleasant breeze, sitting in the garden has been most enjoyable..

Sunny and warm again all day and while in most places the breeze made it feel cooler than the last few days, here it felt slightly warmer as the easterly breeze wasn't as cool as the sea breeze has been. Reached 21.8°C, currently 18.6°C
