Interesting graph this morning, showing the High changing it's Atlantic position, and how the wind veered from N to NE to almost ENE and the humidity that was dropping away nicely actually increased before stabilising..and noticeably how the cloud suddenly appeared...

Despite a clear start this morning, it has clouded over.

The satellite imagery shows the change over the past 2 hours..

Morning All, a frosty start after an overnight low of -1.2°C at: 06:59 as the sun burns the last remnants of frost away, it's wall to wall blue skies to start the day. This mornings' satellite image shows how clear the skies are down here from 7mins ago

Mostly cloudy this afternoon with the odd sunny spell, 10.7°C

March was cooler than February for me, only by 0.04c but even so!

I hadn't even noticed that, but the same for me. February was 8.1°C and March was 7.7°C

Oddly, I recorded the same sunshine amount as last June,

Actually that isn’t too surprising because last June had a lot of dull cool days until the heat burst through late on, whereas we had a full week of unbroken sunshine recently.

Whilst my average max has been increasing each month J/F/M (8.9C, 10.0C, 11.2C), the average minima has been decreasing J/F/M (3.6C, 3.2C ,2.5C) therefore cancelling out any big increase in the overall mean (6.9C) for March.. says it all!

A lot more sunshine than I expected today. The forecasts gave it overcast. Temp responded and got up to 15.1°C.

Morning All, an overcast yet mild start to the day, after an early morning (7am) shower passed through, just enough to see it had rained, but not enough to measure it (although I noticed the micro climate managed 0.4mm this am). Temperatures climbing although in truth overnight low was a mere 1.5°C below the current temp, so not much of a climb really. Wind dropped to still overnight and has tended to be more from the NW this morning..
