I've been living in the UK for almost 9 years now (this will be my 9th xMas here) and all of the Christmas days were the same, mild, dull, nothing going on. I think this will be the same as well  even in Istanbul we used to get snow for New Years day (thanks to Black Sea, we always get sea effect snow every winter).

Did anyone get any election day snow? According to the model waffle thread the next day of interest for nothing to happen is Saturday......brace yourselves.

Some of the roofs had snow frost on them this morning, but it was raining. Felt like it had been snowing, but had turned to rain and I missed it. The council bless them, have decided to cut down/ mow down/destroy all the trees/brushes/anything green and the 'older' side of my village looks like a heap of white sticks. The only bonus is I can now see the village Christmas tree better.

Your doggy looks like it's about to give his opinion on the current political situation. And the weather too.

Early frost, then it rained and turned everything into a lethal ice rink for half an hour before it warmed up a little and it all melted!
It was so icy the car was frozen shut which was fun when trying to leave early to vote before work

hum what an utterly pants day for driving or pretty much anything else really. Had to go and visit someone over at our unit in Crawley, opted for the m25 route, yuk yuk yuk, wipers at double quick tempo and I  still might as well have been driving with my eyes shut. Feel tatered now, might pour myself a cider, or a little something else from the bar to calm down.   !! ☔️ ? ?

Hope everyone else has stayed warm and dry. Imagine if it had been Election Day ⛄❄️ Snow, would it have matched Iceland’s epic snowmageddon event?!!

Apparently it's looking good again for Christmas

Because Christmas is within the reliable time frame.....Get ready for the rollercoaster again.

That said lovely charts for Christmas day. If only they'd come off - it'd feel very festive

Good afternoon Folks. Breezy day but sunny.

7.9c Wind Chill 5.2c. Humidity 63% Rh.

In The wrong place. Remembering days in Billericay and Shoeburyness. .The price of getting on in age.
