Yuck!...worse conditions than expected here on the coast of del Burnham, rain getting more consistent and somewhat heavier and only 13c!!. When are we going to have a decent T-Storm?

The heavens have just burst at 14:15 and it is raining heavily.  It is so welcome for my garden and pond.

Nothing too heavy here.  Just steady wet, which is what the garden needs.  Had cause to plant something a short while ago.  Still dry a few inches down.

Really rubbish, 13C, steady rain has eased off a little, June 2019 is saying hello - this June is going to struggle to redeem itself! More shocking after that phenomenal spring.

Still mostly dry here in Dover, just the odd drop not wetting anything. Had to much of this type of rain.

Steady rain for most of the day but nothing especially heavy , The lockdown must be affecting my kids as they decided to go in to the garden this afternoon and build a den to stay in and shield from the rain , I was quite impressed that they succeeded .

Rain radar is right old mess, it's been steady rain here for an hour with some good cloud formations and a current temp 13.1c, not much wind though.

It’s been an odd day to be honest. A few time’s today it looked as if we were goi g to have heavy rain, even the radar suggested it but nothing came of it. We have had a bit of rain later this afternoon but no where near I thought and that they had forecast. We have had our back garden turfed and I still needed to give it a good watering because it wasn’t nearly enough rain.

Nice breaks in the cloud cover in the last hour and with a bit of sun the temp has shot up to 18.4C. There's a much warmer feel to the air outside now, helped by the warmer air mass arriving, confirmed by the GFS 850hPa chart for early afternoon.

Well my rain shield seems to be working sadly, barely a dampening in the last two days. Very jealous of all you guys having proper downpours!

I had to do a 250 mile round trip yesterday and it was raining pretty much everywhere but here!! Very frustrating!!

Woke to heavy rain this morning, now looks like a lot of water coming in off the North Sea in the next few hours reading in the storm thread, might be a good storm tomorrow overnight.

Well the sun has come out this afternoon at least. The temperatures have actually surpassed the predicted value of 16c, though the NE wind is noticeable.

So will our Region see some of the very heavy rain with maybe some T&L over the next 24 hours? The consensus of the high res models seems to be a 'possible' for first the south, then the west, and by tomorrow morning the far east of the Region. This is best shown by running the sequence of charts for this evening through to 06.00 tomorrow morning from two of the models and it shows the worst of any rainfall splitting around us. So most of us missing the best/worst of any action - choice of word depending on your preference.

As for seeing a storm? Only a 'slight' chance according to Convection Weather:
