I’m sure the people who have had their roofs damaged in Chertsey and Shepperton (a fair few, apparently) will be loving it, especially as it won’t stop chucking it down. Perfect timing with Christmas, too

I'm sure they will be fine mate, nobody died or was injured. My mate lives down Chertsey, weren't that bad he said.

I am in a Flood risk too, but it's more for beddie, the river is a fair distance from me and will get the field first.

1. Next door and her new BF came home again at 3am this morning and woke us up banging her door and thinking its funny.

2. I am awaiting, finally, last lot of presents.

3. It is blimin' raining again

4. I'm ill.

I sound like a stuck record - hum dinging it down again!...real depressing stuff, I wonder who will be the first person in the MAD thread to say "let's get Xmas out the way and give the models a break and see what the new year will bring"? (hear it most years).

I'll take a guess more of the same or high pressure to the south bringing mild weather...

Tiles were blown from roofs leaving homes and cars badly damaged

More vids coming out...

A fair amount of damage! A car was moved 6 feet, apparently. Not quite USA standards but for the UK impressive, nonetheless. Glad no one was hurt, very lucky considering how many trees blew down and roofs/properties were damaged.

I’m sure they will be fine but it’s not great timing with getting damage fixed this close to Christmas. Definitely need a drier week or two.

With that approaching river levels here are at great risk of overflowing.

Hopefully we get a bone dry summer 2020 to sort this mess out before the next deluge!
