100% cloudy here now.. looks overcast actually in the lower elevations.. not much form in the clouds.

Ahhhh! the glorious screams of the NFH's kids getting caught in the downpour and the smell of petrichor, can't ask for much more other than some Lightning to go with it

I can see a shower to the southeast.. but it looks to be weakening as it travels up the peninsula. It may maintain to the south though.

Thunder and lightning here in Dronfield Derbyshire in the last 15 minutes along with torrential rain.

Nice surprise considering we very rarely get any here at all.

That's what our skies looked like earlier, then it would darken and rain. Now  grey all around, no blue and raining, the wind picking up slightly too. Have just seen local weather forecast and they have us still in the yellow warning area for thunder and lightning, do any of you see that happening? I am new to all of this.

I think where storms have already developed today are the places where they will continue to develop. 

No wonder when this zone in northern england has currently reached 23c
