Dry and clear until well into the early hours but then increasing Cs and As towards sunrise. A few brief sunny intervals since dawn but the overall picture is increasing and thickening As as rain moves up from the south.

A brief heavy spell of rain around lunch time this soon became light so most of afternoon just had light rain before a new spell of slightly heavier rain which has just arrived. Overall less rain than suggested. A cool day.
