Brighton seems to be kind of in the firing line. You’ll be able to see them approaching though across the channel at least as long as they don’t die out!

People around the IOW, keep an eye on the Channel Islands/Brest. Cloud heights rising over the Brest area currently.

Slow and steady...

15Z UKV update looks abysmal compared to earlier. For those East of the IoW up to the wash, you're in good stead.

Does that update provide an indication as to when storms could reach the Peterborough area? Also, is the model held in high regard / accurate? Sorry for all the questions

Looking at real time lightening map, looks like right hand split / turn on the French Cell, possible Supercell? (I'm a novice so more a guess than anything!)

Do you guys think East London will get some action tonight?

40-50% I reckon. It’s about now casting at the moment and looking at what’s going on France/Channel. Models are really struggling (as usual with this kind of setup) so its down to a lot of guesswork.

Well I'm currently sitting at a very gloomy and wet Penzance Station waiting for the sleeper train to London. I fear I may arrive at Paddington too late to see any storms in the morning!

Looks like my old home town of Lowestoft is about to get one though.
