Cloudy and dry after some heavy rain during Saturday still windy but it's dying down slowly as the storm heads towards Norway

Current wind gusts are around 20mph

Clear spells for a time last night, clouding over after mid evening. Some light to moderate rain through the early hours, turning windy again. Overcast, windy, mild so far this morning. Staying overcast. The late afternoon saw light to moderate rain setting in. This clearing during the early evening, clear spells following.

Moderate-heavy rain early yesterday evening soon cleared to the south east as the cold front moved through. Light showers of rain followed later in the evening and then heavier showers of sleet, then snow after midnight. There was a covering of 1cm at 0730 but it thawed steadily in sunny intervals following the shower.

Snow and sleet showers quickly faded away and the morning and afternoon mostly dry apart from some spots of rain in the wind.
