Cloudy, dry at the moment after 5.6 mm of rain sine midnight, very mild now at 10.5 C now we are in the warm sector, the low was 5.9 C before this

Another cloudy night, windy, some light rain through the early hours. Cloudy this morning, showery moderate rain. Rain clearing shortly after the observation, bright spells developing. Further bright spells, though a good deal of high and media, level cloud producing the odd light shower. Windy again.

Rain overnight  continuing all day with some heavy periods especially in the afternoon Windy.The river Calder is at its highest since boxing day 2015 with flooding here at Elland where the Calder has swamped the canal and floodplain.Max 9 deg,min 5 deg
