Cloudy overnight, moderate rain through the early hours, this turning to sleet and wet snow towards dawn, producing a slight accumulation. At observation, overcast, light sleet, slight snow cover of 1cm, 60%. Melting. Further light sleet for a time through the morning. The afternoon saw brighter conditions, though with showers wintry showers around of soft hail.  Windy, feeling cold.

Wintry showers quickly died away then a dry day with sunny spells with average temperatures. Clouding over now with high cloud
