Dry with sunny spells, no rain since midnight, some hail and sleet last evening, a low of 2.3 C but no ground frost showing

A cold and windy night with clear spells and snow showers, the snow drifting in exposed areas. The snow showers died  out around 0730 and it's now dry and sunny.

Variable cloud overnight. Windy. Sunny spells so far this morning, feeling cold in the fresh to strong NW wind.

Yesterday.

 

Cloudy overnight, moderate rain through the early hours, this turning to sleet and wet snow towards dawn, producing a slight accumulation. At observation, overcast, light sleet, slight snow cover of 1cm, 60%. Melting. Further light sleet for a time through the morning. The afternoon saw brighter conditions, though with showers wintry showers around of soft hail.  Windy, feeling cold.

Wintry showers quickly died away then a dry day with sunny spells with average temperatures. Clouding over now with high cloud

Breezy, dry and sunny for most of the day, clouded over late afternoon. Maximum 11.2, minimum 1.8. Wind moderate SW.
