The Maximum temperature of 16.2c yesterday afternoon was the highest for February, locally since 2012 (17.7c) Mainly clear overnight. noticed patches of ground frost while out running early this morning, though just missing ground frost here. Hazy sunshine so far this morning.

Minimum temperature overnight 3.5c

Light showery rain cleared away after midnight. staying mild. Dawning partly cloudy, damp underfoot. No change so far this morning. Sunny spells developing through the morning, long sunny spells by afternoon, Turning very mild and feeling spring like.

A very heavy dew and misty start after 3.0C overnight. The sun and slight breeze won though and we hit the same 15.0C high as yesterday.

Fog lifted slowly to low cloud, which finally cleared to sunny spells in the afternoon. Dry and mild again. Maximum 14.6, minimum 6.6. Wind light SE.
