Now up to a heady +1.7c here, most of the snow from last night starting to melt - tarmac roads and paths are clear already.

Still a very nice wintery feel to the village with lawns, trees and roofs still white 🙂

2.5cm snow in NW Leeds. At least we got some snow this winter.

Areas to the north seem to have done even better but we just scraped some of the heavier showers.

Got to admit I wasn’t expecting as much as I got in my location overnight and still snowing with a line of showers still incoming... Nice little surprise.

Sounds more exciting in Hull  (and you don't often say that)
Temp. 1.1° C here now, what's fallen is melting a little and the showers are more sleety.

I'm only 2 metres above sea level here.
7 miles inland from Hornsea.
The forecast today is for the temp. to make it to about 5 ° C, so sadly I can't get excited
about the showers.

Snow starting to melt on roads.

If we can keep showers coming until evening then maybe accumulations tonight in places.

About an inch here.

Light snow shower in Barnsley.  Might be in line for a few heavier showers soon though looking at radar
