I'm pretty sure I saw a bolt of lightning around 10mins ago looking to the SE.

Dry here all day despite the occasional threatening cloud on the horizon. It even brightened up in the afternoon, but not enough to dry out the grass enough for me to cut it, but after yesterday's deluge that wasn't a surprise.

Get out of that field and get sheltered! 😂

I did, but apart from ten minutes of rain and several distant rumbles it has been a bit useless.

A very humid and rather warm day here but overcast and no signs of donner or blitzung. A few small spots of rain.

Plenty of raspberries out in the woods locally which added pleasure and time to the afternoon ramble but doesn't make up for the plague of wasps eating my plums.

Plenty of thunder and lots of flashes from the current storm over Edinburgh. Remains remarkably bone dry here.

Getting very dark here now and just started to rain - first rain of the day really but not heavy. Still rumbling away!

Once again clear that the firth of forth intensified the storms as has been the case throughout the year Screenshot_20190810_204450.thumb.jpg.35afe7a131d4b5f31fd2ceccee6216f3.jpgScreenshot_20190810_204518.thumb.jpg.fc9b81b22f73c93fc5239c8bbf4f5291.jpg

I'm amazed at how little rain we've had here given the level of storm activity nearby.
