A workmate called me from the office in Stokenchurch at 5pm to say that the buses had stopped already and that he couldn't get home to High Wycombe.

I suspect that he's settling in on a colleague's sofa about now.

Yeah, got friends in Wycombe who sent me a video.  Town centre was deserted last night.

More snow down here overnight. Low of -3c!

Looks like sprinkles on the drive and the neighbour’s drive. Looks like snow. I’m positive

Nothing here overnight woke up at about 4:30 am and was a frost but even that was gone by 6 am, the moon was out though just a few days to late, as always. ?

    See you next winter!

I'm joking. Even though there is only a slight bit of snow I need more! Hopefully a more widespread event in Feb.?

A very slight dusting this morning, which at least gave the picture postcard scenes but also invariably highlighted the amount of idiots with driving licences they shouldn't have...

I was quite impressed Snow has stuck around all day in sheltered parts and north facing banks, untreated lanes were still slushy ice and in the process on re-freezing on my commute home. Not seen that for a while.

Right that does it I'm off out to stick the cover on the windscreen, an early start so prefer a clear screen.. Clearly worth doing as there is a layer of ice on the car roof already?
