I'm stood in the garden looking South for distant lightning, like a prize pillock.

I swear this is more fun in the Summer. 

Edit  : I'm not now. It's raining at 4C, on the nose down in the valley.

A much quieter morning after last night when it was very blustery with a couple of quite violent hail shower sin the cold unstable air.

Ar the moment plenty of Ci ans some Ac with little wind. I fear rain shortly

We had a few quick short hail showers yesterday evening.
With all the showers yesterday, we had 10mm of rain.

Now, lovely bright clear blue sunny skies this morning.
7.3c, 8-10mph SW wind, 1003.7 hPa.

High cloud thickening up. Looks like rain/drizzle between 10-11 with 'a' warm front over the county at 1200

A poor forecast for here. It was supposed to be raining from lunchtime until 3am. All we've had is two hours of drizzle.

Just about to be hit by the heaviest of the night's rain, can already hear the wind increasing.  Earlier rain was patchy and relatively light.
