But they still use metoffice warnings

Yes, they display/publicize the Meto warnings but as far as I'm aware, their actual forecast are provided to them by Meteogroup.

Is that based what you're seeing out of the window in Exeter? i.e you're not going on that radar?

The 06z AROME model has some quote respectable totals around the region by lunchtime tomorrow;

I would happily settle for that.

30cm over Exmoor!!!!!

Still just sleeting/raining on the west side of Dartmoor, are you Okehampton way?

I overlook the River Exe in town. We had an epic snowfall earlier in the year. Astonishes me, really. You'd think Devon would be on the mild side, which it generally is, yet it sometimes really cops big snowfall.

Cheers. I am on a few fb groups for the island but they all say different outcomes. Luckily I follow the charts myself so can get an idea on what happening. I tend to read the mod thread a lot but it’s beyond me most of the time so stick with local banter

Since the area of precipitation is moving across the channel too, I'm hoping it will pep up a little further. Ngl West Somerset looks like its going to be absolutely clobbered!

Radar. Hasn't started falling yet in Exeter. Near though ...

That's based on forecast conditions (gfs??). I wouldn't take it as gospel.

Last week, it said we had snow and it was raining @3.8C. At the same time it showed that the office in Oxfordshire had rain and my colleagues were snowed in.

We tend to get so much rain here so when it is cold enough we do very well! We had fab 10ft drifts last year. Would love for it to happen again
