Yeah it’s fantastic to watch , I’ve become an expert at spotting it in the lampposts over the years , I told my wife it was on the turn she looked and said your mad it’s still rain , 15mins later all snow , it’s nice to be right for once .

quite heavy snow here now , slight signs of it settling on the cars .

xc weather has us down for light snow from 9pm and then heavy snow from midnight until 3am looks like you will be up late !!

Pleased to report Heavy snow settling fast in Ely - cars and grass now covered. Very rapid progress from rain

Now looks promising for covering by tomorrow

Drove from Purley Way to Dorking about 7-7:30 (was there to buy some cheap warm gear for my trip to the Canadian Rockies on Saturday) and it was raining then very very heavily sleeting then snowing at the top of Pebble Hill. Driving down into town and it turned back to sleet but now it’s snow. I think the MetO will be spot on with their ice warning, there’s so much standing water out there - massive puddles on main roads. Be safe tomorrow folks.
