Omg. It's coming down thick with snow flakes the size of fifty pence pieces!!!!!! Can't see beyond 10 metres. Definitely worth all the hype and waiting guys.....

Few things about the radar

Its delayed by around five mins, so if a heavy bit is over you on radar, it’s likely already passed.

The radar sometimes suffers from all sorts of anomalies so don’t take it too literally.

The precip type isn’t showing any live data, it’s based on models so don’t take that literally either.

So In other words stick your head out the window/door?

Glad I don’t have a dog to take out for a walk. Blooming miserable here.

Yes! Bloody horrible heavy rain in Sutton now. Absolutely soaked. No sign of winteyness yet.

Rain here in Chelmsford has turned somewhat heavier the past few minutes.

Snow in the air, slush on the car and water on the ground.

My conservatory is telling me it is raining at the moment .. but Im hopeful of dandruff in west London later, or certainly on the back-edge of my hair brush..

Seriously I will be happy if I see some flakes on the back edge and frankly this has ended up rolling through about 3 hours too early.. C'est la vie
