Reading also joining in the fun, looks like evaporative cooling is doing the trick, perfect conditions for it, its so still outsite

It's too mild in Central around 5-7.c across most of London that doesn't mean that we won't see something wintry but realistically around here I'd expect it to start of as rain with temps dropping to around 2.c turning to wet snow.

I've got a huge tree outside of my house, usually the birds are in and out all day , very active. They have suddenly become quite subdued and quiet. I'll be taking that as a sign. I'll take any sign I can get...

Luckily temps have passed their peak and are starting to go down now, noticed a 9c in Essex, can't be right.

High chance of some wet snow in the showers by the looks of things - keeping my fingers crossed! Slightly unlucky with the timing though was hoping this front would pass through nearer/during evening which would increase settling snow chances somewhat, but we'll see...

Most of the snow reports saying starting as rain turning quickly to snow.. which makes sense as the colder air gets dragged down in the heavier bursts
