MO updated their charts again, looking much better for the dry slot! Game on after midnight for us.

My 9 year old son wants to go out and film in the snow for his YouTube channel tomorrow - I think he might be disappointed!

Well some light snow again now, so maybe something to see by the morning

A few flakes now starting to blow around in Herne Bay (2 miles inland)

Yep, but what's more noticable is that wind!

I posted a few hours ago the heavier stuff won’t arrive for a few more hours and it’s like I was talking Klingon !

What time do you reckon on the heavier stuff arriving around the west Surrey area, Nick ?

Nice thin layer of snow here (1cm) in West London, got more a few days back but the night is early!

Yes, looks good for a few cm's in our neck of the woods. HIRLAM suggests closer to 10, but is probably over done...

Some light-moderate showers. So maybe 10-15 minutes of moderate snowfall to come, as per radar some showers kicking off over Portsmouth..

Forgive me for not being excited about that...because I'm not...its no doubt going to die overhead...just to spite me at this point

Let’s hope not, if they die over liphook nothing will arrive here, I hope you have your birthday suit ready if we get more than 1cm

Sprinkling in Beckenham. If you were looking out of the window in the morning you'd mistake it for frost. :-)

10.30pm update...

No snow still.

Nothing coming down. Despite being on the back edge.

Nothing happening, I'm not even going to get ANY snow at this rate...yet alone to settle...unreal...

Edit - Birthday suit is not going to be needed now, 100% certain...not even a dusting is going to happen now.

KW you’re starting to sound unhinged ! Do you not have any alcohol in doors or a couple of hash cakes!

Can you just chill for a bit. I’m getting concerned for your mental well being !

Dew point and temperature have gotten warmer over the last few years, fingers crossed the snow flakes become bigger and wetter.

Temperature has edged up to 0 here in Three Mile Cross, but still reading a dew point of -2. Snow is back up to 5 on the Murr scale, so snow getting heavier again.

Are you on campus at REading Uni?
