    Heavy rain here although some of the fatter raindrops do give the impression of recently melted snowflakes. I think for some inland areas the transition from rain to snow could be a quick one so be interesting tp keep an eye on the reports and see how things develop.

    Raining here, bits of snow here and there left over from last night on favoured surfaces. Hopefully a better covering later if the rain turns back to snow.

    I phoned home and it was snowing in milnrow too.

    Snowing in Rochdale but raining in Oldham, nope I can’t explain that either.

    Even the Met Office struggling to see whether it snow here or not. It just now showing heavy snow at 1pm now just for an hour.
