Definitely one of the worst Winter’s I’ve known for snow. Was hoping there would at least been some falling snow, but the Solihull snow shield was too strong even for that. (Sleet at best at one point). ?

Perhaps March might throw out a surprise for those of us wanting the white stuff. But even then, wouldn’t mind some warmer, drier, weather too.

Last year, all Stoke had mate, partic on the Staffs Cheshire border was 1 quick Snow shower, so this year was actually better as the shower this year lasted 30mins longer ?

Sunny but very windy, up to 5C. Why the snow around Herts/Beds but rain either side of it? Normally the northern edge of the band would be the place if it was marginal. Was that the only place that got it heavy enough for evaporative cooling

These Atlantic storms provide us with more excitement than the recent (lack of) snowfall across our region ?

(Not the disruption associated with it of course)

Still snow, some 50p sized flakes, slushy cover on the card and trying to stick to the grass/sponge without melting instantly. It's giving it a go....

Just sleet here, but better than if the front just started as plain oil’ rain.

Wet snow, unecpected really, especially as by 8pm will be up to 12 degrees

It is irrelevant what the temperature is after the front, it is what is ahead of the front that determines what the precipation type is.
