A few flurries so far and looking good on the radar....caught a Snowbow earlier but hoping for some elusive `thundersnow`....as the day goes on

raini here now, although to be fair to METO forecast it does say rain from 4pm then heavy snow at 5pm, although the Netweather radar showing pink!!!

Keeps drifting from sleet with a few flakes then back to cold rain and sleet again, just the perfect definition of a wintry shower.

Please could a more experienced member explain, why I am i seeing reports of snow to the north west wast and south of me yet I have rain, and im under heavy ppnsurely there cant be that much difference in the dew points?????

Looks like a steamer of sorts setting up. Just in time for rush hour and the place to grind to a halt. Roads are already slow and there's no snow on them!

Just turned to wet snow, not exceptionally heavy but can be classed as snow.
