A very hot unpleasant day once again. I think it's the 2nd highest we've recorded.

well what a day, the hottest this year with 33.2 C, now 23.7 and Td 22 C, awful, and a fall of 8.8 mm in about 6 minutes as the storm(s) tracked just about east of here going northwards, max fall at 1615 with 155.6 mm p hr, no lightning seen and only the odd rumble thunder E and S.

Bit like Singapore, for a minute or two with visibility no more than 1500 M and roads/pavements nearl dry again.

A dry and hot day with long spells of sunshine, but rather hazy at times. It turned cloudy by early evening as heavy showers passed to the west with thunder heard in the distance. The max of 29.9C before the sea breeze kicked in late in the afternoon was the joint third warmest in July here since 1980.
