Thailand cave rescue

According to news reports that I've seen attempts to lower the water level in the caves to facilitate getting the kids out is a major priority which involves, not only pumping but diverting surface water that normally feeds down into the mountain. Apparently they have a short rainfall window at the moment before the monsoon so the next few days may well be critical, This does seem to be born out by this evening's ecm rainfall analysis for the next four days and hopefully longer

It was such joyous news when the boys were located and all alive and quite well.
Sad news today that diver Saman Gunan has lost his life delivering oxygen tanks in the cave tunnels.
Getting the lads out sounds awfully difficult.  I hope the rains hold off to help.

Good article! I'm so glad this story ended this way, and all the guys were rescued! It's also so amazing how many people, divers and other professionals involved in their rescue. I'm proud of all those people and grateful to them very much!!!
