Clear, sunny and very warm @ 21.3 c and a 4 mph easterly.

Had already reached 18 c before 8 am, after overnight low of 13.5 c. All way above the surrounding sea temperature, with little wind, our wedge is well heated!

Unbroken sunshine and very warm. I’ve been surprised how warm it has got here recently given how cold the sea still is. Max yesterday 24.6°C. Min overnight 10.0°C. Currently 24.7°C. Current SST 53°F which has risen a lot from a few days ago.

I expect a Seabreeze to develop within the next 2 hours.

The best day of the year to date is coming to an end - what a pity.  We managed to reach 24.0c today - a little higher than yesterday but not as hot as those only fifty or so miles east and beyond.

19:05 hrs - temperature now 20.1c

Clear skies.  Light air / calm.

A deep golden egg-yolk sunset. Bubbling stream water at the end of my garden is still cool on the skin. As the light recedes, the heat of humidity is losing its stifling quality and as wisps of blushed cloud gather on the hill, the late sun-washed sky displays a full menu of sorbet colours, from mango to apricot to crushed berries of every hue.
