A cloudy night with sleet yesterday evening lasting until after midnight but then turning showery. A dry but cloudy start to this morning and misty over the hills. The mist has lifted and the cloud broken to allow sunny intervals in the last half hour.

Some early sunshine this morning after 9 then cloud started building and it has been mostly cloudy since ten and on the cold side

Some sunny spells in the afternoon brought the temperatures up to 8.8C but triggered a heavy rain hail shower just now
