Temperatures tomorrow look similar for most, though eastern parts of East Anglia and Kent will be cooler thanks to an onshore wind. Probably close to 30C in west London.

Wednesday

arpegeuk-41-48-0.png?25-18

Still forecast as a cooler day with a more noticeable easterly wind and also some high level cloud drifting south. There is the risk of low cloud close to coasts during the morning.

Thursday

arpegeuk-41-74-0.png?25-18

Still potentially the warmest day of the week with the chance of 30C more widespread with clear skies for more and a light breeze.

Friday

arpegeuk-41-99-0.png?25-19

With winds from the NE there is the risk of larger amounts of low cloud so feeling considerable cooler across the north of the region though this could change.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When I come to power it will be illegal to work on days as lovely as this and ice creams will be free to all.

Just caught the Look East forecast and, believe it or not (barring any short-lived early morning low cloud/mistiness) it looks as if we can all play Spot The Cloud all the way until Saturday...I think I also heard mention of 'heavy thundery showers'...DQM!:yahoo:

31oC registered as I was driving around eltham/bexleyheath.

Interesting how it dropped down to 27oC as I drove into north Kent.

30.1C at Hampton today. Good to see the 30C mark breached at last. Next milestone is 90F which will probably be achieved somewhere this week.

Well despite every forecast to the contrary, we have overcast skies here to the start thanks to low cloud from the north sea and my location is around 20 miles from the Wash. I really hope this isn't the trend here where low cloud is much more widespread and stubborn than forecast.

It'd all gone by 8 a.m., over here, Cap...15.1C and W-2-W sunshine and a 6 mph ESE breeze...

That's Rail Franchise summertime jargon for 'Oops, we still haven't sorted-out a proper timetable.'!☀️

Another nice sunny and warm start, yesterday's slight humidity gone, replaced by a cool breeze perfect again.

Oops! I meant Canterbury!

Anywho, it's 16.6 just now, with W-2-W sunshine and a light SE zephyr...More like 22-23C today, I hope.:yahoo:

Aye - nineteen wickets on day one, eh? And it's still one better (or worse?) than the first day of Kent's last home match...

Up to 22.3 here, now...Why, despite there being a prevailing easterly flow, is the breeze still only a feeble 5 mph? Could the relative abundance of sunshine, through May and June, have warmed the Southern North Sea sufficiently to all but snuff-out the usual sea breeze?

Make that 23.7. So not far short of yesterday after all.
