got to say anyone reported this central London is very dark now by the barbican centre.... is this the start

Can see that cell from here producing lightning occasionally  . Just missed us here , but it only seems a matter of time now .

What's just hit the south south east of Brighton looks tasty!

Given the path of the mid/west Norfolk storm, we could do with something deeloping around the Dedham Vale/Stour estuary area.

Here in Ashford, so far, it looks as if the storms will pass either side of us *sigh*

Noooo :) The storms will expand eastward and slowly push over later. Best guess - 7pm.

Watch the area of storms north of Paris. This will merge with everything further west and push up NE.

I see them coming out on my side I was standing with my mum and girlfriend at the park and now there are no planes.. Then a second one went over and as it went over there was more lightning.. Coincidence? I don't know

An aircraft moving through the air can help trigger it.

Meanwhile, reports of Tibenham at 36.2C?

Sounds plausible.  UEA weather station has shown 33-34 all afternoon - 33.1C now.
