So a slightly different snow flake is expected for us down here in cornwall from two weeks ago?

naturally, very special are they! ... Myth says Cornish snow is so rare, anyone tasting the snowflakes on their lips will instantly become a Cornish language poet and King Arthur comes back from his grave to fight for ancient Britain against the saxons..........:rofl:

Can you feel the sarcasm yet XD ..... I have Cornish family down Truro way..lovely part of the world.....hope you get a sniff of the white stuff :)

EDIT - OK, maybe a little premature.  Heavy is snow flurry as I type.  But I think it will be on and off instead of On for 6 hours!

It looks like it's going to miss PL9 again :(  It's ben heading right towards us for the last 6 hours, but has just started to drift North by the looks of things.  I think I will have to move.

Yep - definitely premature. . . . Looks like I got the arrow direction badly wrong.  It must have been a slight change in intensity making it look like it was starting to drift North (and the future radar prediction shows that?)  But it still seems to be marching in.  Here it comes Cornwall!

0.9c, 1007hPa here now and thawing slowly.

Love the way the snow slides off like a blanket, just so beautiful.

Looks amazing out there! Most of what you can see is fresh snow from the past hour

Well that was fun. Garden ruined, but almost a 2 hour session of snowball fights and building Arsenè Mark II.

even the eldest stayed out the entire time and actually enjoyed himself.

anyome that doesn’t like snow is odd in my option if you have kids. The utter joy it brings. #memoriesbuilt

lookie lookie to the eastie for tonight’s possible fun !

Certainly good scope for a few cm's of snow around Hampshire & Dorset tonight. Plenty of models suggest it. Disregard the AROME model, T+0 was completely wrong.

Yeah and I’m quite content with my snow fix, got way more than I was expecting!!

So not pressure on this one tonight at all. If it comes happy days. If not, bring on spring. 😂😀

I'm off for a walk along the costal path.  Right after I've left a lousy review for the Oxford solar battery charger I bought a few days ago.  Absolute junk :)

I'm only on my mobile and to be blunt it is a right pain posting pics on here. I have to save them in files first. The NW site used to give me an option to post straight from my gallery.
