A bit of sprig warmth would go down well. Get into that veg patch get my little girl out in the garden playing. Alas I think we will be waiting along while yet :( With slack low pressure over us then a run of small depressions coming its unusable weather but nothing extreme!!

I think fromey still has some ...

Yes Fromey does .

I did my first school run today from Frome  two small village very nearby

 Quite a bit left

Block of ice is still in the garden that I took out the plant pot but the snow in my garden has gone

Apparently this lane I went down today was actually cut off yesterday  The snow was still covering the road and was too high in the centre for the cost to go over  according to one of the mothers at school

How odd as my rain gauge had decided whilst it was cold to stop reporting. Ran diagnostics (remove the battery & replace) nothing. recycled the base unit and et voila everything started again. Now working again...

Still some snow left on neighbour's grass, and patches on the side of the road and in the field.

Very rare these days!! But I won’t hesitate to buy my next station from them with that level of service and confidence that if I get a problem, it won’t be a problem!

I bought a  £240 12000 lumen torch from Olight - they're a company that prides in design build and have a towering reputation in the flashlight industry. I had an issue with a ring of metal poking out of the switch area which cut my thumb open. I told them that I was not happy about it, and they sent me a brand new one free of charge and said I could also keep the other one. I fixed that anyway.. lol

When my package arrived, I got the second light, but they also threw in a head torch and a powerful key ring light, worth about £50  extra. I sold the second torch on eBay for £220 - Happy pantzu!

Hate to be the giver of bad news but the latest charts show no warm up cold rain seems to be on the cards with an attempt at day 9 of a cheeky arctic incursion. In happier news....the new gin is tasting great!
