Swain I'm in Shaw so about 100 m ask lol. Where I live 10 mins up the road it's 297m ?

Its now edging much more towards the snowy end of sleet here now, I would imagine now its starting to settle in Scouthead / Sholver / Lydgate and places like that.

The Pennines are destroying that band, but that was forecast anyway, it’s not surprising.

Don’t give up already! The showers haven’t even got here yet! This band was forecast to struggle to get over the Pennines.

Bitterly cold and very windy with frequent snow showers.

Today:

Very windy and feeling bitterly cold with snow showers feeding in the from the east, some of these heavy. The strongest winds will be to the west of the high ground. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

Tonight:

Staying windy overnight with snow showers continuing to pile in the from the east. Lying snow and ice likely to cause some impacts. Minimum temperature -6 °C.

Sunday:

Another very cold and windy day with further snow showers for many, though these may start to ease a little. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

 

 That sounds good for all of us.
