The WRF which has been pretty spot on with temperatures recently here  predicted it would be 12.5°C now. It’s only 7.3°C. Oh dear.

Max yesterday was 8.3°C at 7 PM; currently 8.1°C. Not what I would really call mild. The CAPE is still showing for later today but Met are not interested; they are for tomorrow though.

And there I was watching this https://www.derby.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/conservation/peregrines/peregrine-camera-1/

Then I hear a rumble of thunder outside my house. A quick check and there was a strike between Ashton and Mossley.

After spending a week (17-24 March) in Cyprus where the weather was sunny and warm 22-25c during the day ,I am longing for summer to arrive now. Please let there be no more mini beasts, I want the heat from now until December*

Edit * well October then ,as I get to return to Cyprus in November.
