That will be quite a ramp if you're using a big earthworking machine @winterfreak , the latest graphics on the MetOffice forecast suggest the shower train will come south of the river from 3pm onwards so hopefully you'll have plenty to play with  :)

Do we think any of these showers will get as far south as Orpington?

Working in Sevenoaks currently but would want to go home if conditions are going to worsen

Expected to be mostly to the north and south-east of us today, although there is mention of something this afternoon.

This gives a good indication to see what's coming. Just make sure you have Animation set to On.

I realise I shouldn't take much notice if the forecast but my little snow flakes seem to be lessening for thurs and Friday!

As I've had no snow yet this week it would be nice to have hope!

Bright sunshine, blue skies (Farnham,Surrey)

temp -1.9

Dp -8.7

Feeling a bit sad ?

Pretty Classic ESE Streamer here, areas of NE London and NW London will do well here

Yep further west looks best, similar to 2009 in regard that intensity is increased actually further inland but angle currently has bit more north component than 2009 places like Watford looking good for a couple of hours then will move slightly further south.
