Yea you was right.. I haven't done too bad tbh here...where you now still that way.. Looks like we have break.. Maybe more later this evening?

I'd be shocked if there wasn't more over the next 24-48 hours. Suspect it will be similar areas maxing out, although the orientation will change a bit which could change things a bit. 7 inches reported 10 mins south of T Wells so far.

I'm in SW London right now and we have nothing to speak of. Considered going down to Sussex to enjoy this spell, but decided the mature thing would be to stay here and get on with work... hm....

Radar is still stuck..and the data from uk area seems to be stuck to on the dutch one...and another that I tried. I think they are having issues!

It's fixed.. north sea looks dull atm.

Roll on tonight!

The sun is out, temp is -2.4, but certainly feels warmer than that.

How can snow melt at such temperatures? It really is!

Strength of the sun, I think, this late in the season. Won’t matter how cold temperatures are.

I’d be shocked if the convection doesn’t start dropping more when the sun drops. Medway is going to go mental tonight. Best case the slush turns to ice. Worst case slush turns to ice and more snow lays on top. Anything now is just adding depth.

Winter 2017, take a bow.

What’s the consensus for this evening and in to tomorrow? The showers off the sea seem to have died a death. Are they due to pick up again, or is this it for now? It’s been an amazing 24 hours!
