Lots of people still on then? Tried to sleep.. Got a cup of tea. Wondering how long it would take our arsenal of snow ploughs to free the country .. they will have to keep going for days on the same patches - possibly. Or, not. Who knows.

I haven't tried to sleep yet. I guess i probably should do soon, just as the radar looks to be coming to life.

Radar has a lot to answer for lately. I've watched numerous showers pass over my location today and not many of them dropped anything until later on. Could be virga but more likely, modelling error. I've got it up right now and the northern most streamer doesn't seem to have moved much. It looks earmarked for us but believe me, it should have been here hours ago.

Is there still a good chance of decent snowfall on Thursday pm for north Somerset?

Well even though radar doesn't really pick it out unless you can zoom in, I have very light snow right now. I've been expecting that band to reach us, all through the night. I might do! There are many showers popping up now.

We have woken up to a smattering (I feel like that is a word but not sure this early ) on the top of cars here in central Bournemouth.

Tomorrow on the Meto app is still looking good but off to have a look in the MAD thread.
