Has this problem with iPhone - someone kindly suggested screen shot the photo and upload that if quality not too bad, if you’re using phone or tablet. Worked for me

Picture resolution issue  possibly I had the same earlier so I just reduced the resolution, took another pic and it uploaded fine even though the first pic was also under the 7mb limit.

It's still moderate dandruff here in Wembury.  It is definitely still accumulating faster that it can sublimate.  The hill is very difficult for 2WD and as I watch on the webcam, I think we have our first strandee! . . . . Yep - he has bailed out.

The sheltered spots have an extra 2cm or so from the last 90 minutes, although it is difficult to be sure that hasn't been enhanced by drifting.

wx forecast -  Increasing clouds and cooler.  Precipitation possible within 6 hours  Windy with possible wind shift to the W, NW, or N.

Are you gonna blame this on Brexit Frogesqe lol.

No, popped in to see how you guys were doing. Lot of years ago mum and dad retired to St. Austell so have a bit of an interest. Thought I mention the high tide dangers but a bit banter and winding up is all good.

We've just had an intense shower, wild, horizontal and almost whiteout conditions. But we are tough, we can take it:friends:

Pathetic light snow with minimal accumulations in barnstaple north Devon. No heavy snow expected either.

Don't be so sure, that big area of orange/red in the channel has your name on it!

Hard to say how much snow has fallen in Exeter, as it's drifted a fair bit (outside my door...), but it's something close to 10cm on the grass and pavements now I reckon! The worst/best of the snow hasn't even arrived yet, but here's the view from my kitchen about 20 minutes ago.

The next band of heavier snow for the West Country currently stretches from Southampton to Plymouth.

The very heavy PPN over the Channel Islands is expected to move through North Devon, South West Somerset into SE Wales.  This is what I think the Meto red warning is primarily for.

can anyone hazard a guess as to how far east the really heavy precip currently in the channel will get? Nearest town? will it be further east than predicted?

Also, managed to sweet talk more precise locations of potential freeIng rain from Aidan “I’d do him” McGivern

Not feeling the love for it currently, still have very fine flakes blowing around in the wind with no real depth yet.

I hope so mate but we're just not getting any of the precipitation in this part of north Devon. The stuff seems have disintergrated as it gets here. 8 cm in Exeter Devon for instance.
