I now know it is possible for the temperature to FALL under unbroken midday sunshine and of course it is virtually Spring! It's gone from -0.4c down to -1.2c in the last hour!

ESE wind is gusting very strong off Salisbury Plain, the last xx number of times that's happened have been hot summer days.

Is it the Big one today Andy? If so, Happy Birthday!

Really crap forecast tomorrow on that latest BBC. Bit in the morning hardly reaching the coast and looking more on Friday now. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fridays as rain as that's the second wave. Don't like the look of this for dorchester east that is.

Yep got the idea, your not impressed. Might want to have another look tho. Snow tomorrow with more to the sw, then a few hours of snow on Friday with no rain on the graphics bar the far sw. Crap is sw breeze and rain. any forecast with snow is good unless you prefer mild.

Are we getting to that situation again a bit like yesterday where showers start popping up out of nowhere as instability approaches the Severn estuary? Seeing radar echoes popping up nearby again ahead of the main batch out of london.

Is it me or does it have a more SW component in the last few frames?

Sorry but you are knee jerking yet again! All it does is confuse less learned members and brings the mood down in here! Met office remains the same!

Agreed, someone has a negative personality maybe.......?

Possibly. Looks like it will be light if it gets here at all but would be nice to see another dusting before the evening is out.

It does look like some snow flurries could make it across to areas more SW of the warning zones and indeed some places North of Bristol up towards Gloucester already seeing some.

The bbc have been awful in their forecasts so far. As long as met office keeps with their warnings for my area I’m confident! In Met office we trust ? whatever happens the next couple of days that wind will cut you in half... it’s brutal!

Its the BBC - no surprises there. Hardly accurate on reporting - 20 m snow in Scotland too apparently ....

Lorries now jackknifed in Peverell in Weston Mill. Accident on A379 Laira Bridge towards Plymstock.

Roads towards the Hoe impassable.

We REALLY aren’t used to this snow in Plymouth are we!
