I think there was one once where the pitch was fine but it was too dangerous outside for that many people to be there. I think it was in 2010.

Best of luck. We were over your way on Sunday at Chawton House for the snowdrops.

It was well worth the trip. It's a lovely village.

Thank you jtay :)

Lovely pic, I've not been there myself although I have a friend in Farringdon and it's beautiful there. Those snowdrops!

After more sun, the next batch has arrived. It's so much fun! Dew point here approx - 3dgC, temp 0.1.

Typically Reading is one of the only places outside the MetO's warning for snow today and it looks like we'll be too far east to see anything notable on Thursday/Friday  :wallbash: Guess I'll have to be content with the odd flake blowing in the wind

All; this waiting for snow is not good for my blood pressure.   To quote someone on the weather so far in my location the beast from the East has produced the least from the East.

Am I going to get some of that Eastern promise lol.

My interest is on that clump of snow showers north of London heading WSW..Can they hold it together?

Must’ve just missed me. If the radar was working I might’ve seen it.

Just popped into the mad thread and someone just posted latest Chief Forecasters assessment....

UPGRADE....UPGRADE

Late Thurs, Friday and into Saturday.

I'm useless at copy/paste jobs so someone in here can prob find it and post it. Cheers BB

Makes you wonder doesn't it, could that heavy snowfall that many of us have been waiting years for,  finally be on the way.

The radars working again.

And it brings good news to me as there’s a shower heading towards me.
